CVSS v3.1 |
| TEC-IT TBarCode version 11.15 contains a vulnerability in the TBarCode11.ocx ActiveX/OCX control's licensing handling (INI-file based) that can be abused to cause remote creation of files on the host filesystem. Depending on where files can be created and which filenames are allowed, this can allow attackers to write files that lead to code execution or persistence under the context of the hosting process. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in Spectrum Power 4 (All versions < V4.70 SP12 Update 2). The affected application is vulnerable to alter the local database which contains the application credentials. This allows an attacker to gain administrative application privileges. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in Spectrum Power 4 (All versions < V4.70 SP12 Update 2). The affected application is vulnerable to extraction of database credentials via a world-readable credential file. This allows an attacker to connect to the database as privileged application user and to run system commands via the database. |
| A local privilege escalation vulnerability exists in
the restore mechanism of
ASUS System Control Interface. It can be triggered when an unprivileged actor copies files without proper validation into protected system paths, potentially leading to arbitrary files being executed as SYSTEM.
For more information, please refer to section Security Update for MyASUS in the ASUS Security Advisory. |
| Proxmox Virtual Environment is an open-source server management platform for enterprise virtualization. Insufficient safeguards against malicious API response values allow authenticated attackers with 'Sys.Audit' or 'VM.Monitor' privileges to download arbitrary host files via the API.
When handling the result from a request handler before returning it to the user, the handle_api2_request function will check for the ‘download’ or ‘data’->’download’ objects inside the request handler call response object. If present, handle_api2_request will read a local file defined by this object and return it to the user.
Two endpoints were identified which can control the object returned by a request handler sufficiently that the ’download’ object is defined and user controlled. This results in arbitrary file read.
The privileges of this file read can result in full compromise of the system by various impacts such as disclosing sensitive files allowing for privileged session forgery. |
| Improper permission settings for mobile applications (com.transsion.carlcare) may lead to
information leakage risk. |
| The glpi-screenshot-plugin allows users to take screenshots or screens recording directly from GLPI. In versions below 2.0.2, authenticated user can use the /ajax/screenshot.php endpoint to leak files from the system or use PHP wrappers. This is fixed in version 2.0.2. |
| A prototype pollution in the lib.mutateMergeDeep function of @tanstack/form-core v0.35.0 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via supplying a crafted payload. |
| On affected platforms, a restricted user could break out of the CLI sandbox to the system shell and elevate their privileges. |
| mlocate's %post script allows RUN_UPDATEDB_AS user to make arbitrary files world readable by abusing insecure file operations that run with root privileges. |
| Non privileged access to critical file vulnerability in GE HealthCare EchoPAC products |
| Improper export of Android application components issue exists in 'ABEMA' App for Android prior to 10.65.0 allowing another app installed on the user's device to access an arbitrary URL on 'ABEMA' App for Android via Intent. If this vulnerability is exploited, an arbitrary website may be displayed on the app, and as a result, the user may become a victim of a phishing attack. |
| Remote Command program allows an attacker to read any file using a Local File Inclusion vulnerability. An attacker can read any file on the printer. As for the affected products/models/versions, see the reference URL. |
| The Goza - Nonprofit Charity WordPress Theme theme for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the alone_import_pack_restore_data() function in all versions up to, and including, 3.2.2. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). |
| Attackers with local access to the medical office computer can
escalate their Windows user privileges to "NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM" by
overwriting one of two Elefant service binaries with weak permissions. The default installation directory of Elefant is "C:\Elefant1" which is
writable for all users. In addition, the Elefant installer registers two
Firebird database services which are running as “NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM”.
Path: C:\Elefant1\Firebird_2\bin\fbserver.exe
Path: C:\Elefant1\Firebird_2\bin\fbguard.exe
Both service binaries are user writable. This means that a local
attacker can rename one of the service binaries, replace the service
executable with a new executable, and then restart the system. Once the
system has rebooted, the new service binary is executed as "NT
AUTHORITY\SYSTEM". |
| iStats contains an insecure XPC service that allows local, unprivileged users to escalate their privileges to root via command injection. This issue affects iStats: 7.10.4. |
| VIPRE Advanced Security Incorrect Permission Assignment Local Privilege Escalation Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows local attackers to escalate privileges on affected installations of VIPRE Advanced Security for PC. An attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the product installer. The issue results from incorrect permissions on a folder. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code in the context of SYSTEM. Was ZDI-CAN-27147. |
| Harness Open Source is an end-to-end developer platform with Source Control Management, CI/CD Pipelines, Hosted Developer Environments, and Artifact Registries. Prior to version 3.3.0, Open Source Harness git LFS server (Gitness) exposes api to retrieve and upload files via git LFS. Implementation of upload git LFS file api is vulnerable to arbitrary file write. Due to improper sanitization for upload path, a malicious authenticated user who has access to Harness Gitness server api can use a crafted upload request to write arbitrary file to any location on file system, may even compromise the server. Users using git LFS are vulnerable. This issue has been patched in version 3.3.0. |
| DaVinci Resolve on MacOS was found to be installed with incorrect file permissions (rwxrwxrwx). This is inconsistent with standard macOS security practices, where applications should have drwxr-xr-x permissions. Incorrect permissions allow for Dylib Hijacking. Guest account, other users and applications can exploit this vulnerability for privilege escalation. This issue affects DaVinci Resolve on MacOS in versions before 19.1.3. |
| Enables an authenticated user (enrolled device) to access a service protected by Sentry even if they are not authorized according to the sentry policy to access that service. It does not enable the user to authenticate to or use the service, it just provides the tunnel access. |
