CVSS v3.1 |
| Software installed and run as a non-privileged user may conduct GPU system calls to read and write freed physical memory from the GPU. |
| Software installed and run as a non-privileged user may conduct improper GPU system calls to trigger use-after-free kernel exceptions. |
| Pixmeo OsiriX MD is vulnerable to a use after free scenario, which could allow an attacker to upload a crafted DICOM file and cause memory corruption leading to a denial-of-service condition. |
| Use After Free vulnerability exists in the JT file reading procedure in SOLIDWORKS eDrawings on Release SOLIDWORKS Desktop 2025. This vulnerability could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code while opening a specially crafted JT file. |
| Use After Free vulnerability exists in the CATPRODUCT file reading procedure in SOLIDWORKS eDrawings on Release SOLIDWORKS Desktop 2025. This vulnerability could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code while opening a specially crafted CATPRODUCT file. |
| An unauthenticated local attacker may trick a user to open corrupted project files to crash the system due to use after free vulnerability. |
| Software installed and run as a non-privileged user may conduct improper GPU system calls to corrupt kernel heap memory. |
| Use-After-Free vulnerability exists in the SLDPRT file reading procedure in SOLIDWORKS eDrawings on Release SOLIDWORKS Desktop 2025. This vulnerability could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code while opening a specially crafted SLDPRT file. |
| Out-Of-Bounds Write, Use of Uninitialized Resource and Use-After-Free vulnerabilities exist in the file reading procedure in eDrawings from Release SOLIDWORKS 2023 through Release SOLIDWORKS 2024. These vulnerabilities could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code while opening a specially crafted SLDDRW or SLDPRT file. NOTE: this vulnerability was SPLIT from CVE-2024-1847. |
| c-ares is an asynchronous resolver library. From 1.32.3 through 1.34.4, there is a use-after-free in read_answers() when process_answer() may re-enqueue a query either due to a DNS Cookie Failure or when the upstream server does not properly support EDNS, or possibly on TCP queries if the remote closed the connection immediately after a response. If there was an issue trying to put that new transaction on the wire, it would close the connection handle, but read_answers() was still expecting the connection handle to be available to possibly dequeue other responses. In theory a remote attacker might be able to trigger this by flooding the target with ICMP UNREACHABLE packets if they also control the upstream nameserver and can return a result with one of those conditions, this has been untested. Otherwise only a local attacker might be able to change system behavior to make send()/write() return a failure condition. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.34.5. |
| @fastly/js-compute is a JavaScript SDK and runtime for building Fastly Compute applications. The implementation of several functions were determined to include a use-after-free bug. This bug could allow for unintended data loss if the result of the preceding functions were sent anywhere else, and often results in a guest trap causing services to return a 500. This bug has been fixed in version 3.16.0 of the `@fastly/js-compute` package. |

| Software installed and run as a non-privileged user may conduct improper GPU system calls to trigger use-after-free kernel exceptions. |
| A vulnerability was found in PX4 PX4-Autopilot up to 1.15.4. This issue affects the function MavlinkReceiver::handle_message_serial_control of the file src/modules/mavlink/mavlink_receiver.cpp of the component Mavlink Shell Closing Handler. The manipulation of the argument _mavlink_shell leads to use after free. An attack has to be approached locally. The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitation is known to be difficult. The identifier of the patch is 4395d4f00c49b888f030f5b43e2a779f1fa78708. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. |
| Software installed and run as a non-privileged user may conduct improper GPU system calls to trigger use-after-free kernel exceptions. |
| NVIDIA vGPU software contains a vulnerability in the Virtual GPU Manager, where a malicious guest could cause heap memory access after the memory is freed. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution, escalation of privileges, data tampering, denial of service, or information disclosure. |
| A Use After Free vulnerability on UniFi Protect Cameras could allow a Remote Code Execution (RCE) by a malicious actor with access to UniFi Protect Cameras management network. |
| Memory corruptions can be remotely triggered in the Control-M/Agent when SSL/TLS communication is configured.
The issue occurs in the following cases:
* Control-M/Agent 9.0.20: SSL/TLS configuration is set to the non-default setting "use_openssl=n";
* Control-M/Agent 9.0.21 and 9.0.22: Agent router configuration uses the non-default settings "JAVA_AR=N" and "use_openssl=n" |
| When DNSdist is configured to provide DoH via the nghttp2 provider, an attacker can cause a denial of service by crafting a DoH exchange that triggers an illegal memory access (double-free) and crash of DNSdist, causing a denial of service.
The remedy is: upgrade to the patched 1.9.9 version.
A workaround is to temporarily switch to the h2o provider until DNSdist has been upgraded to a fixed version.
We would like to thank Charles Howes for bringing this issue to our attention. |
| NVIDIA GPU Display Driver for Windows contains a vulnerability where an attacker with local unprivileged access that can win a race condition might be able to trigger a use-after-free error. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution, escalation of privileges, data tampering, denial of service, or information disclosure. |
