| Mermaid is a JavaScript tool that uses Markdown-inspired text to create and modify diagrams and charts. Prior to 10.9.6 and 11.15.0, Mermaid's default configuration allows injecting CSS that applies outside of the Mermaid diagram via the fontFamily, themeCSS, and altFontFamily configuration options. The injected CSS exploits stylis's & (scope reference) handling. :not(&) escapes the #mermaid-xxx automatic scoping, applying styles to all page elements. Global at-rules (@font-face, @keyframes, @counter-style) are also injectable as stylis hoists them to top level. This allows page defacement and DOM attribute exfiltration via CSS :has() selectors. This vulnerability is fixed in 10.9.6 and 11.15.0. |

| txtai through 9.10.0, fixed in commit 11b32da, exposes an API /reindex endpoint whose function body parameter is resolved through txtai.util.Resolver, which performs __import__ and getattr on the caller-supplied dotted path with no allowlist. When the API is exposed with no TOKEN configured (authentication is opt-in, so all endpoints are unauthenticated) and the index is configured writable, a remote attacker can set function to an arbitrary callable such as subprocess.getoutput, achieving remote code execution as the server process during reindexing. Exploitation requires those deployment conditions (API exposed, no TOKEN, writable index); it is not the default configuration. The fix gates the endpoint behind a new reindex configuration flag. |

| ACE vulnerability in conditional configuration file processing by QOS.CH logback-core up to and including version 1.5.36 in Java applications, allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code circumventing existing protections against CVE-2025-11226 by compromising an existing logback configuration file or by injecting an environment variable before program execution.
A successful attack requires the presence of Janino library to be present on the user's class path. In addition, the attacker must have write access to a
configuration file. Alternatively, the attacker could inject a malicious
environment variable pointing to a malicious configuration file. In both
cases, the attack requires existing privilege.
Please note that in logack version 1.5.37 conditional processing using Janino was removed. |

| Improper neutralization in the Snowpark annotation processor callback template in Snowflake CLI versions prior to 3.19 allowed arbitrary code execution during application bundling or deployment. An attacker could exploit this by supplying crafted project content that is interpolated into generated Python code, causing Snowflake CLI to execute attacker-controlled code in the local context of the user running the CLI. Successful exploitation requires the victim to run the relevant bundling or deployment workflow against attacker-controlled project content, and any resulting code runs with the privileges of that local execution context. The fix is available in Snowflake CLI version 3.19, and users must manually upgrade. |

| Budibase is an open-source low-code platform. Prior to 3.39.12, an unauthenticated visitor of any published Budibase app reads every document of the backing MongoDB, CouchDB, Elasticsearch, DynamoDB-PartiQL, or REST-with-JSON-body collection and, where the builder has published a PUBLIC write query, modifies every document of that collection with one HTTP request. enrichContext at packages/server/src/sdk/workspace/queries/queries.ts:121-138 substitutes parameter values into the raw JSON body of a query, then JSON.parses the result. The validator validateQueryInputs at packages/server/src/api/controllers/query/index.ts:61-71 rejects only Handlebars markers ({{, }}) in user input and does not escape JSON metacharacters (", \, }). A parameter value containing a closing quote and additional keys lifts attacker-controlled fields into the parsed filter object. For Mongo find, the parsed filter passes directly to collection.find() (packages/server/src/integrations/mongodb.ts:506-510). Duplicate-key JSON parsing overrides the builder's {name: "..."} with {name: {$exists: true}} and returns every document. The same primitive against an updateMany query (mongodb.ts:577-585) widens the filter scope to the full collection while the builder-controlled $set body runs against every matched document. The authorized middleware at packages/server/src/middleware/authorized.ts:141-148 short-circuits when the query's role is PUBLIC. CSRF is not enforced on this path. POST /api/v2/queries/:queryId (packages/server/src/api/routes/query.ts:63) accepts the call with no session, only an x-budibase-app-id header that is public from the published-app URL. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.39.12. |

| PyTorch is a Python package that provides tensor computation. Prior to version 2.10.0, a vulnerability in PyTorch's `weights_only` unpickler allows an attacker to craft a malicious checkpoint file (`.pth`) that, when loaded with `torch.load(..., weights_only=True)`, can corrupt memory and potentially lead to arbitrary code execution. Version 2.10.0 fixes the issue. |
| The llm CLI tool thru 0.27.1 contains a critical code injection vulnerability via its --functions command-line argument. This argument is intended to allow users to provide custom Python function definitions. However, the tool directly executes the provided code using the unsafe exec() function without any sanitization, sandboxing, or security restrictions. An attacker can exploit this by crafting a malicious llm command with arbitrary Python code in the --functions argument and using social engineering to trick a victim into running it. This leads to arbitrary code execution on the victim's system, potentially granting the attacker full control. |
