CVSS v3.1 |
| unalz 0.53 allows user-assisted attackers to overwrite arbitrary files via an ALZ archive with ".." (dot dot) sequences in a filename. |
| Directory traversal vulnerability in Shanghai TopCMM 123 Flash Chat Server Software 5.1 allows attackers to create or overwrite arbitrary files on the server via ".." (dot dot) sequences in the username field. |
| Directory traversal vulnerability in Oracle Reports allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via an absolute or relative path to the (1) CUSTOMIZE or (2) desformat parameters to rwservlet. NOTE: vector 2 is probably the same as CVE-2006-0289, and fixed in Jan 2006 CPU. |
| Directory traversal vulnerability in Oracle Reports 6.0, 6i, 9i, and 10g allows remote attackers to overwrite arbitrary files via (1) "..", (2) Windows drive letter (C:), and (3) absolute path sequences in the desname parameter. NOTE: this issue was probably fixed by REP06 in CPU Jan 2006, in which case it overlaps CVE-2006-0289. |
| Directory traversal vulnerability in index.php for BibORB 1.3.2, and possibly earlier versions, allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary files via a Delete action and .. (dot dot) sequences in the database_name parameter. |
| Directory traversal vulnerability in extproc in Oracle 9i and 10g allows remote attackers to access arbitrary libraries outside of the $ORACLE_HOME\bin directory. |
| Directory traversal vulnerability in Kai Blankenhorn Bitfolge simple and nice index file (aka snif) before 1.2.5 allows remote attackers to download files from locations above the snif directory. |
| Directory traversal vulnerability in Cherokee Web Server allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via a .. (dot dot) in the URL. |
| Directory traversal vulnerability in cosmicpro.cgi in Cosmicperl Directory Pro 2.0 allows remote attackers to gain sensitive information via a .. (dot dot) in the SHOW parameter. |
| Directory traversal vulnerability in scan_lang_insert.php in Boris Herbiniere-Seve SPiD 1.3.1 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via the lang parameter. |
| Relative Path Traversal, Improper Isolation or Compartmentalization vulnerability in erlang otp erlang/otp (tftp_file modules), erlang otp inets (tftp_file modules), erlang otp tftp (tftp_file modules) allows Relative Path Traversal. This vulnerability is associated with program files lib/tftp/src/tftp_file.erl, src/tftp_file.erl.
This issue affects otp: from 17.0, from 07b8f441ca711f9812fad9e9115bab3c3aa92f79; otp: from 5.10 before 7.0; otp: from 1.0. |
| Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in Mitchell Bennis Simple File List simple-file-list allows Path Traversal. This issue affects Simple File List: from n/a through <= 6.1.15. |
| Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in hexpm hexpm/hexpm ('Elixir.Hexpm.Store.Local' module) allows Relative Path Traversal. This vulnerability is associated with program files lib/hexpm/store/local.ex and program routines 'Elixir.Hexpm.Store.Local':get/3, 'Elixir.Hexpm.Store.Local':put/4, 'Elixir.Hexpm.Store.Local':delete/2, 'Elixir.Hexpm.Store.Local':delete_many/2.
This issue does NOT affect hex.pm the service. Only self-hosted deployments using the Local Storage backend are affected.
This issue affects hexpm: from 931ee0ed46fa89218e0400a4f6e6d15f96406050 before 5d2ccd2f14f45a63225a73fb5b1c937baf36fdc0. |
| The Snow Monkey Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the 'generate_user_dirpath' function in all versions up to, and including, 12.0.3. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). |
| The ShortPixel Image Optimizer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Read via path traversal in the 'loadFile' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 6.4.2 due to insufficient path validation and sanitization in the 'loadLogFile' AJAX action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Editor-level access and above, to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information such as database credentials and authentication keys. |
| A path handling issue was addressed with improved validation. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.7.4, macOS Sonoma 14.8.4, macOS Tahoe 26.3. An app may be able to gain root privileges. |
| A path handling issue was addressed with improved validation. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.3 and iPadOS 26.3, macOS Sonoma 14.8.4, macOS Tahoe 26.3, visionOS 26.3. An app may be able to gain root privileges. |
| The Sleuth Kit through 4.14.0 contains a path traversal vulnerability in tsk_recover that allows an attacker to write files to arbitrary locations outside the intended recovery directory via crafted filenames or directory paths with path traversal sequences in a filesystem image. An attacker can craft a malicious filesystem image with embedded /../ sequences in filenames that, when processed by tsk_recover, writes files outside the output directory, potentially achieving code execution by overwriting shell configuration or cron entries. |
| The WP-DownloadManager plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Path Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 1.69 via the 'download_path' configuration parameter. This is due to insufficient validation of the download path setting, which allows directory traversal sequences to bypass the WP_CONTENT_DIR prefix check. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access and above, to configure the plugin to list and access arbitrary files on the server by exploiting the file browser functionality. |
| Windmill is an open-source developer platform for internal code: APIs, background jobs, workflows and UIs. Prior to version 1.603.3, an unauthenticated path traversal vulnerability exists in Windmill's get_log_file endpoint "(/api/w/{workspace}/jobs_u/get_log_file/{filename})". The filename parameter is concatenated into a file path without sanitization, allowing an attacker to read arbitrary files on the server using ../ sequences. This issue has been patched in version 1.603.3. |
