SpaceX Starlink Wi-Fi router GEN 2 before 2023.53.0 and Starlink Dish before 07dd2798-ff15-4722-a9ee-de28928aed34 allow CSRF (e.g., for a reboot) via a DNS Rebinding attack.
An authentication bypass vulnerability was reported in Lenovo devices with Synaptics fingerprint readers that could allow an attacker with physical access to replay fingerprints and bypass Windows Hello authentication.
secp256k1-node is a Node.js binding for an Optimized C library for EC operations on curve secp256k1. In `elliptic`-based version, `loadUncompressedPublicKey` has a check that the public key is on the curve. Prior to versions 5.0.1, 4.0.4, and 3.8.1, however, `loadCompressedPublicKey` is missing that check. That allows the attacker to use public keys on low-cardinality curves to extract enough information to fully restore the private key from as little as 11 ECDH sessions, and very cheaply on compute power. Other operations on public keys are also affected, including e.g. `publicKeyVerify()` incorrectly returning `true` on those invalid keys, and e.g. `publicKeyTweakMul()` also returning predictable outcomes allowing to restore the tweak. Versions 5.0.1, 4.0.4, and 3.8.1 contain a fix for the issue.
The TEM Opera Plus FM Family Transmitter application interface allows users to perform certain actions via HTTP requests without performing any validity checks to verify the requests. This can be exploited to perform certain actions with administrative privileges if a logged-in user visits a malicious web site.
Electron is an open source framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. From versions 30.0.0-alpha.1 to before 30.0.5 and 31.0.0-alpha.1 to before 31.0.0-beta.1, Electron is vulnerable to an ASAR Integrity bypass. This only impacts apps that have the embeddedAsarIntegrityValidation and onlyLoadAppFromAsar fuses enabled. Apps without these fuses enabled are not impacted. This issue is specific to Windows, apps using these fuses on macOS are not impacted. Specifically this issue can only be exploited if the app is launched from a filesystem the attacker has write access too. i.e. the ability to edit files inside the .app bundle on macOS which these fuses are supposed to protect against. This issue has been patched in versions 30.0.5 and 31.0.0-beta.1. There are no workarounds for this issue.
| Livemarks is a browser extension that provides RSS feed bookmark folders. Versions of Livemarks prior to 3.7 are vulnerable to cross-site request forgery. A malicious website may be able to coerce the extension to send an authenticated GET request to an arbitrary URL. An authenticated request is a request where the cookies of the browser are sent along with the request. The `subscribe.js` script uses the first parameter from the current URL location as the URL of the RSS feed to subscribe to and checks that the RSS feed is valid XML. `subscribe.js` is accessible by an attacker website due to its use in `subscribe.html`, an HTML page that is declared as a `web_accessible_resource` in `manifest.json`. This issue may lead to `Privilege Escalation`. A CSRF breaks the integrity of servers running on a private network. A user of the browser extension may have a private server with dangerous functionality, which is assumed to be safe due to network segmentation. Upon receiving an authenticated request instantiated from an attacker, this integrity is broken. Version 3.7 fixes this issue by removing subscribe.html from `web_accessible_resources`.

The Squelch Tabs and Accordions Shortcodes plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 0.4.7. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation when saving plugin settings. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to modify plugin settings via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
The Download Plugins and Themes in ZIP from Dashboard plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 1.8.7. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the download_theme() function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to download arbitrary themes from the website via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link. In versions prior to 1.8.6 it was possible to download the entire sites files.
Cross-Site Request Forgery vulnerability in Socomec Net Vision, version 7.20. This vulnerability could allow an attacker to trick registered users into performing critical actions, such as adding and updating accounts, due to lack of proper sanitisation of the ‘set_param.cgi’ file.
The WP Lead Plus X plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions up to, and including, 0.99. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on several functions. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to perform administrative actions, such as adding pages to the site and/or replacing site content with malicious JavaScript via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
The Stop Registration Spam plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 1.23. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious web scripts via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link. CVE-2024-56017 is likely a duplicate of this issue.
Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in FanBridge FanBridge signup fanbridge-signup allows Stored XSS.This issue affects FanBridge signup: from n/a through <= 0.6.
A Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability exists in the ResetPasswordRequest operation of Zimbra Collaboration (ZCS) when the zimbraFeatureResetPasswordStatus attribute is enabled. An attacker can exploit this by tricking an authenticated user into visiting a malicious webpage that silently sends a crafted SOAP request to reset the user's password. The vulnerability stems from a lack of CSRF token validation on the endpoint, allowing password resets without the user's consent.
The Subscriptions & Memberships for PayPal plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.6. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on a function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary posts via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
A flaw was found in Epiphany, a tool that allows websites to open external URL handler applications with minimal user interaction. This design can be misused to exploit vulnerabilities within those handlers, making them appear remotely exploitable. The browser fails to properly warn or gate this action, resulting in potential code execution on the client device via trusted UI behavior.
HRSALE 1.1.8 contains a cross-site request forgery vulnerability that allows attackers to add unauthorized administrative users through the employee registration form. Attackers can craft a malicious HTML page with hidden form fields to trick authenticated administrators into creating new user accounts with elevated privileges.
Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in ProteusThemes Custom Sidebars by ProteusThemes custom-sidebars-by-proteusthemes allows Cross Site Request Forgery. This issue affects Custom Sidebars by ProteusThemes: from n/a through <= 1.0.3.
| Some endpoints in vulnerability-lookup that modified
application state (e.g. changing database entries, user data,
configurations, or other privileged actions) may have been accessible
via HTTP GET requests without requiring a CSRF token. This flaw leaves
the application vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks:
an attacker who tricks a logged-in user into visiting a malicious
website could cause the user’s browser to issue GET requests that
perform unintended state-changing operations in the context of their
authenticated session.
Because the server would treat these GET requests as valid (since no
CSRF protection or POST method enforcement was in place), the attacker
could exploit this to escalate privileges, change settings, or carry out
other unauthorized actions without needing the user’s explicit consent
or awareness.
The fix ensures that all state-changing endpoints now require HTTP POST
requests and include a valid CSRF token. This enforces that state
changes cannot be triggered by arbitrary cross-site GET requests. This issue affects Vulnerability-Lookup: before 2.18.0. |
The ARMember Premium plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions up to, and including, 6.7. This is due to incorrectly implemented nonce validation function on multiple functions. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to modify, or delete user meta and plugin options which can lead to limited privilege escalation.
Cross-Site Request Forgery vulnerability in Movistar's 4G router affecting version ES_WLD71-T1_v2.0.201820. This vulnerability allows an attacker to force an end user to execute unwanted actions in a web application in which they are currently authenticated.
