CVSS v3.1 |
A denial of service vulnerability in the Android media framework (libhevc). Product: Android. Versions: 5.0.2, 5.1.1, 6.0. Android ID: A-62815506.
Linux kernel: heap out-of-bounds in AF_PACKET sockets. This new issue is analogous to previously disclosed CVE-2016-8655. In both cases, a socket option that changes socket state may race with safety checks in packet_set_ring. Previously with PACKET_VERSION. This time with PACKET_RESERVE. The solution is similar: lock the socket for the update. This issue may be exploitable, we did not investigate further. As this issue affects PF_PACKET sockets, it requires CAP_NET_RAW in the process namespace. But note that with user namespaces enabled, any process can create a namespace in which it has CAP_NET_RAW.
An FR-GV-201 issue in FreeRADIUS 2.x before 2.2.10 and 3.x before 3.0.15 allows "Read / write overflow in make_secret()" and a denial of service.
An FR-GV-301 issue in FreeRADIUS 3.x before 3.0.15 allows "Write overflow in data2vp_wimax()" - this allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (daemon crash) or possibly execute arbitrary code.
In android for MSM, Firefox OS for MSM, QRD Android, with all Android releases from CAF using the Linux kernel, when processing a specially crafted QCA_NL80211_VENDOR_SUBCMD_ENCRYPTION_TEST cfg80211 vendor command a stack-based buffer overflow can occur.
In Android for MSM, Firefox OS for MSM, QRD Android, with all Android releases from CAF using the Linux kernel, when an audio driver ioctl handler is called, a kernel out-of-bounds write can potentially occur.
An out-of-bounds read and write flaw was found in the way SIPcrack 0.2 processed SIP traffic, because 0x00 termination of a payload array was mishandled. A remote attacker could potentially use this flaw to crash the sipdump process by generating specially crafted SIP traffic.
A length validation (leading to out-of-bounds read and write) flaw was found in the way eapmd5pass 1.4 handled network traffic in the extract_eapusername function. A remote attacker could potentially use this flaw to crash the eapmd5pass process by generating specially crafted network traffic.
OpenCV (Open Source Computer Vision Library) through 3.3 has an out-of-bounds write error in the function FillColorRow1 in utils.cpp when reading an image file by using cv::imread.
OpenCV (Open Source Computer Vision Library) through 3.3 has an invalid write in the cv::RLByteStream::getBytes function in modules/imgcodecs/src/bitstrm.cpp when reading an image file by using cv::imread, as demonstrated by the 2-opencv-heapoverflow-fseek test case.
OpenCV (Open Source Computer Vision Library) through 3.3 has an out-of-bounds write error in the FillUniColor function in utils.cpp when reading an image file by using cv::imread.
OpenCV (Open Source Computer Vision Library) through 3.3 has an out-of-bounds write error in the FillColorRow8 function in utils.cpp when reading an image file by using cv::imread.
OpenCV (Open Source Computer Vision Library) through 3.3 has an out-of-bounds write error in the function FillColorRow4 in utils.cpp when reading an image file by using cv::imread.
A vulnerability in OpenOffice's PPT file parser before 4.1.4, and specifically in PPTStyleSheet, allows attackers to craft malicious documents that cause denial of service (memory corruption and application crash) potentially resulting in arbitrary code execution.
A vulnerability in Apache OpenOffice Writer DOC file parser before 4.1.4, and specifically in ImportOldFormatStyles, allows attackers to craft malicious documents that cause denial of service (memory corruption and application crash) potentially resulting in arbitrary code execution.
In modules/imgcodecs/src/grfmt_pxm.cpp, the length of buffer AutoBuffer _src is small than expected, which will cause copy buffer overflow later. If the image is from remote, may lead to remote code execution or denial of service. This affects Opencv 3.3 and earlier.
An invalid write access was discovered in bin/jp2/convert.c in OpenJPEG 2.2.0, triggering a crash in the tgatoimage function. The vulnerability may lead to remote denial of service or possibly unspecified other impact.
A stack-based buffer overflow was discovered in the pgxtoimage function in bin/jp2/convert.c in OpenJPEG 2.2.0. The vulnerability causes an out-of-bounds write, which may lead to remote denial of service or possibly remote code execution.
This vulnerability allows local attackers to escalate privileges on Jungo WinDriver 12.4.0 and earlier. An attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the processing of IOCTL 0x953824a7 by the windrvr1240 kernel driver. The issue lies in the failure to properly validate user-supplied data which can result in an out-of-bounds write condition. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code under the context of kernel.
A mishandled zero case was discovered in opj_j2k_set_cinema_parameters in lib/openjp2/j2k.c in OpenJPEG 2.2.0. The vulnerability causes an out-of-bounds write, which may lead to remote denial of service (heap-based buffer overflow affecting opj_write_bytes_LE in lib/openjp2/cio.c and opj_j2k_write_sot in lib/openjp2/j2k.c) or possibly remote code execution.
