CVSS v3.1 |
| A security issue in the firmware image verification implementation
at Supermicro MBD-X12DPG-OA6. An attacker can upload a specially crafted image that will cause a stack overflow is caused by not checking fld->used_bytes. |
| FiberHome AN5506-04-FA firmware versions up to and including RP2631 and HG6245D prior to RP2602 contain a stack-based buffer overflow, as the HTTP service ('webs') fails to enforce maximum lengths for Cookie header values. When a cookie longer than 511 bytes is processed, a stack buffer is overrun, leading to a crash or potential control of execution flow. |
| BOOTP Turbo 2.0 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows attackers to crash the application by overwriting the Structured Exception Handler (SEH). Attackers can generate a malicious payload of 2196 bytes with specific byte patterns to trigger an application crash and corrupt the SEH chain. |
| Amlib’s NetOpacs webquery.dll contains a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability triggered by improper handling of HTTP GET parameters. Specifically, the application fails to enforce bounds on input supplied to the app parameter, allowing excessive data to overwrite memory structures including the Structured Exception Handler (SEH). Additionally, malformed parameter names followed by an equals sign may result in unintended control flow behavior. This vulnerability is exposed through IIS and affects legacy Windows deployments |
| Torrent 3GP Converter 1.51 contains a stack overflow vulnerability that allows attackers to execute arbitrary code by overwriting Structured Exception Handler (SEH) registers. Attackers can craft a malicious payload targeting the application's registration dialog to trigger code execution and open the calculator through carefully constructed buffer overflow techniques. |
| 10-Strike Network Inventory Explorer 9.03 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in the file import functionality that allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. Attackers can craft a malicious text file with carefully constructed payload to trigger a stack-based buffer overflow and bypass data execution prevention through a ROP chain. |
| Digital Music Pad v8.2.3.3.4 contains a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in its playlist file parser. When opening a .pls file containing an excessively long string in the File1 field, the application fails to properly validate input length, resulting in corruption of the Structured Exception Handler (SEH) on the stack. This flaw may allow an attacker to control execution flow when the file is opened, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution. |
| Dnsmasq-utils 2.79-1 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in the dhcp_release utility that allows attackers to cause a denial of service by supplying excessive input. Attackers can trigger a core dump and terminate the dhcp_release process by sending a crafted input string longer than 16 characters. |
| Free Desktop Clock 3.0 contains a stack overflow vulnerability in the Time Zones display name input that allows attackers to overwrite Structured Exception Handler (SEH) registers. Attackers can exploit the vulnerability by crafting a malicious Unicode input that triggers an access violation and potentially execute arbitrary code. |
| Certain models of ASUS routers have buffer overflow vulnerabilities, allowing remote attackers with administrative privileges to execute arbitrary commands on the device. |
| B64dec 1.1.2 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability that allows attackers to execute arbitrary code by overwriting Structured Exception Handler (SEH) with crafted input. Attackers can leverage an egg hunter technique and carefully constructed payload to inject and execute malicious code during base64 decoding process. |
| SpotFTP-FTP Password Recover 2.4.8 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows attackers to crash the application by generating a large buffer overflow. Attackers can create a text file with 1000 'Z' characters and input it as a registration code to trigger the application crash. |
| FTPPad <= 1.2.0 contains a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in its FTP directory listing parser. When the client connects to an FTP server and receives a crafted response to a LIST command containing an excessively long directory and filename, the application fails to properly validate input length. This results in a buffer overflow that overwrites the saved Extended Instruction Pointer (EIP), allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. |
| Controller denial of service due to improper handling of a specially crafted message received by the controller.
See Honeywell Security Notification for recommendations on upgrading and versioning. |
| CODE::BLOCKS 16.01 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability that allows attackers to execute arbitrary code by overwriting Structured Exception Handler with crafted Unicode characters. Attackers can create a malicious M3U playlist file with 536 bytes of buffer and shellcode to trigger remote code execution. |
| Rubo DICOM Viewer 2.0 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in the DICOM server name input field that allows attackers to overwrite Structured Exception Handler (SEH). Attackers can craft a malicious text file with carefully constructed payload to execute arbitrary code by overwriting SEH and triggering remote code execution. |
| Buffer Overflow vulnerability in libde265 v1.0.12 allows a local attacker to cause a denial of service via the allocation size exceeding the maximum supported size of 0x10000000000. |
| The Infotainment ECU manufactured by Bosch uses a RH850 module for CAN communication. RH850 is connected to infotainment over the INC interface through a custom protocol. There is a vulnerability during processing requests of this protocol on the V850 side which allows an attacker with code execution on the infotainment main SoC to perform code execution on the RH850 module and subsequently send arbitrary CAN messages over the connected CAN bus.
First identified on Nissan Leaf ZE1 manufactured in 2020. |
| A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in joelittlejohn jsonschema2pojo 1.2.2. This issue affects the function apply of the file org/jsonschema2pojo/rules/SchemaRule.java of the component JSON File Handler. The manipulation leads to stack-based buffer overflow. Attacking locally is a requirement. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| Gekko Manager FTP Client <= 0.77 contains a stack-based buffer overflow in its FTP directory listing parser. When processing a server response to a LIST command, the client fails to properly validate the length of filenames. A crafted response containing an overly long filename can overwrite the Structured Exception Handler (SEH), potentially allowing remote code execution. |
