CVSS v3.1 |
RADOS Gateway in Ceph 12.1.0 through 12.2.1 allows remote authenticated users to cause a denial of service (assertion failure and application exit) by leveraging "full" (not necessarily admin) privileges to post an invalid profile to the admin API, related to rgw/rgw_iam_policy.cc, rgw/rgw_basic_types.h, and rgw/rgw_iam_types.h.
Remote code execution occurs in Apache Solr before 7.1 with Apache Lucene before 7.1 by exploiting XXE in conjunction with use of a Config API add-listener command to reach the RunExecutableListener class. Elasticsearch, although it uses Lucene, is NOT vulnerable to this. Note that the XML external entity expansion vulnerability occurs in the XML Query Parser which is available, by default, for any query request with parameters deftype=xmlparser and can be exploited to upload malicious data to the /upload request handler or as Blind XXE using ftp wrapper in order to read arbitrary local files from the Solr server. Note also that the second vulnerability relates to remote code execution using the RunExecutableListener available on all affected versions of Solr.
The Microsoft Common Console Document (.msc) in Microsoft Windows 7 SP1, Windows Server 2008 SP2 and R2 SP1 allows an attacker to read arbitrary files via an XML external entity (XXE) declaration, due to the way that the Microsoft Common Console Document (.msc) parses XML input containing a reference to an external entity, aka "Windows Information Disclosure Vulnerability".
Multiple XML external entity (XXE) vulnerabilities in the OpenText Documentum Administrator 7.2.0180.0055 allow remote authenticated users to list the contents of arbitrary directories, read arbitrary files, cause a denial of service, or, on Windows, obtain Documentum user hashes via a (1) crafted DTD, involving unspecified XML structures in a request to xda/com/documentum/ucf/server/transport/impl/GAIRConnector or crafted XML file in a MediaProfile file (2) import or (3) check in.
Multiple open redirect vulnerabilities in OpenText Documentum Administrator 7.2.0180.0055 allow remote attackers to redirect users to arbitrary web sites and conduct phishing attacks via a (1) URL in the startat parameter to xda/help/en/default.htm or (2) /%09/ (slash encoded horizontal tab slash) followed by a domain in the redirectUrl parameter to xda/component/virtuallinkconnect.
XML External Entity (XXE) vulnerability in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator 5.1 and 5.2 and IBM Sterling File Gateway 2.1 and 2.2 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via a crafted XML data.
There is a stack consumption vulnerability in the lex function in parser.hpp (as used in sassc) in LibSass 3.4.5. A crafted input will lead to a remote denial of service.
There is a stack consumption vulnerability in the Parser::advanceToNextToken function in parser.cpp in LibSass 3.4.5. A crafted input may lead to remote denial of service.
Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 SP3, Exchange Server 2013 SP3, Exchange Server 2013 CU16, and Exchange Server 2016 CU5 allows an open redirect vulnerability that could lead to spoofing, aka "Microsoft Exchange Open Redirect Vulnerability".
The XML-RPC protocol support in Apache Roller before 5.0.3 allows attackers to conduct XML External Entity (XXE) attacks via unspecified vectors.
Open Redirect vulnerability in Hitachi Device Manager before 8.5.2-01 allows remote attackers to redirect users to arbitrary web sites.
Azure AD Connect Password writeback, if misconfigured during enablement, allows an attacker to reset passwords and gain unauthorized access to arbitrary on-premises AD privileged user accounts aka "Azure AD Connect Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability."
The Kibana fix for CVE-2017-8451 was found to be incomplete. With X-Pack installed, Kibana versions before 6.0.1 and 5.6.5 have an open redirect vulnerability on the login page that would enable an attacker to craft a link that redirects to an arbitrary website.
LogicalDoc Community Edition 7.5.3 and prior is vulnerable to XXE when indexing XML documents.
The graphics component in Microsoft Windows 10 Gold, 1511, 1607, 1703, and Windows Server 2016 allows an authenticated attacker to run arbitrary code in kernel mode via a specially crafted application, aka "Microsoft Graphics Component Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability."
In Apache FOP before 2.2, files lying on the filesystem of the server which uses FOP can be revealed to arbitrary users who send maliciously formed SVG files. The file types that can be shown depend on the user context in which the exploitable application is running. If the user is root a full compromise of the server - including confidential or sensitive files - would be possible. XXE can also be used to attack the availability of the server via denial of service as the references within a xml document can trivially trigger an amplification attack.
IBM Security Access Manager 6.1, 7.0, 8.0, and 9.0 e-community configurations may be affected by a redirect vulnerability. ECSSO Master Authentication can redirect to a server not participating in an e-community domain. IBM X-Force ID: 128687.
Netflix Security Monkey before 0.8.0 has an Open Redirect. The logout functionality accepted the "next" parameter which then redirects to any domain irrespective of the Host header.
A security researcher found an XML External Entity (XXE) vulnerability on the Conserus Image Repository archive solution version 2.1.1.105 by McKesson Medical Imaging Company, which is now a Change Healthcare company. An unauthenticated user supplying a modified HTTP SOAP request to the vulnerable service allows for arbitrary file read access to the local file system as well as the transmittal of the application service's account hashed credentials to a remote attacker.
In Moodle 2.x and 3.x, searching of arbitrary blogs is possible because a capability check is missing.
