| CVE-2025-40161 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mailbox: zynqmp-ipi: Fix SGI cleanup on unbind The driver incorrectly determines SGI vs SPI interrupts by checking IRQ number < 16, which fails with dynamic IRQ allocation. During unbind, this causes improper SGI cleanup leading to kernel crash. Add explicit irq_type field to pdata for reliable identification of SGI interrupts (type-2) and only clean up SGI resources when appropriate. | ||||
| CVE-2025-40085 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 7.0 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: usb-audio: Fix NULL pointer deference in try_to_register_card In try_to_register_card(), the return value of usb_ifnum_to_if() is passed directly to usb_interface_claimed() without a NULL check, which will lead to a NULL pointer dereference when creating an invalid USB audio device. Fix this by adding a check to ensure the interface pointer is valid before passing it to usb_interface_claimed(). | ||||

| CVE-2025-40037 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 7.0 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fbdev: simplefb: Fix use after free in simplefb_detach_genpds() The pm_domain cleanup can not be devres managed as it uses struct simplefb_par which is allocated within struct fb_info by framebuffer_alloc(). This allocation is explicitly freed by unregister_framebuffer() in simplefb_remove(). Devres managed cleanup runs after the device remove call and thus can no longer access struct simplefb_par. Call simplefb_detach_genpds() explicitly from simplefb_destroy() like the cleanup functions for clocks and regulators. Fixes an use after free on M2 Mac mini during aperture_remove_conflicting_devices() using the downstream asahi kernel with Debian's kernel config. For unknown reasons this started to consistently dereference an invalid pointer in v6.16.3 based kernels. Fix it by avoiding READ_ONCE() in read_instrumented_memory(), and simply forcing the compiler to do the required access by casting to the appropriate volatile type. In terms of generated code this currently only affects architectures that do not use the default READ_ONCE() implementation. The only downside is that we are not guaranteed atomicity of the access itself, although on most architectures a plain load up to machine word size should still be atomic (a fact the default READ_ONCE() still relies on itself). | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: fix memory leaks when rejecting a non SINGLE data profile without an RST At the end of btrfs_load_block_group_zone_info() the first thing we do is to ensure that if the mapping type is not a SINGLE one and there is no RAID stripe tree, then we return early with an error. Doing that, though, prevents the code from running the last calls from this function which are about freeing memory allocated during its run. Hence, in this case, instead of returning early, we set the ret value and fall through the rest of the cleanup code. | ||||

Then at the BUG_ON() location, we are trying to writeback the repaired sectors back the failed device. The check looks like this: ret = btrfs_map_block(fs_info, BTRFS_MAP_WRITE, logical, &map_length, &bioc, mirror_num); if (ret) goto out_counter_dec; BUG_ON(mirror_num != bioc->mirror_num); But inside btrfs_map_block(), we can modify bioc->mirror_num especially for dev-replace: if (dev_replace_is_ongoing && mirror_num == map->num_stripes + 1 && !need_full_stripe(op) && dev_replace->tgtdev != NULL) { ret = get_extra_mirror_from_replace(fs_info, logical, *length, dev_replace->srcdev->devid, &mirror_num, &physical_to_patch_in_first_stripe); patch_the_first_stripe_for_dev_replace = 1; } Thus if we're repairing the replace target device, we're going to trigger that BUG_ON(). But in reality, the read failure from the replace target device may be that, our replace hasn't reached the range we're reading, thus we're reading garbage, but with replace running, the range would be properly filled later. Thus in that case, we don't need to do anything but let the replace routine to handle it. [FIX] Instead of a BUG_ON(), just skip the repair if we're repairing the device replace target device. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: platform/x86: int3472: Fix double free of GPIO device during unregister regulator_unregister() already frees the associated GPIO device. On ThinkPad X9 (Lunar Lake), this causes a double free issue that leads to random failures when other drivers (typically Intel THC) attempt to allocate interrupts. The root cause is that the reference count of the pinctrl_intel_platform module unexpectedly drops to zero when this driver defers its probe. This behavior can also be reproduced by unloading the module directly. Fix the issue by removing the redundant release of the GPIO device during regulator unregistration. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: bcsp: receive data only if registered Currently, bcsp_recv() can be called even when the BCSP protocol has not been registered. This leads to a NULL pointer dereference, as shown in the following stack trace: KASAN: null-ptr-deref in range [0x0000000000000108-0x000000000000010f] RIP: 0010:bcsp_recv+0x13d/0x1740 drivers/bluetooth/hci_bcsp.c:590 Call Trace: <TASK> hci_uart_tty_receive+0x194/0x220 drivers/bluetooth/hci_ldisc.c:627 tiocsti+0x23c/0x2c0 drivers/tty/tty_io.c:2290 tty_ioctl+0x626/0xde0 drivers/tty/tty_io.c:2706 vfs_ioctl fs/ioctl.c:51 [inline] __do_sys_ioctl fs/ioctl.c:907 [inline] __se_sys_ioctl+0xfc/0x170 fs/ioctl.c:893 do_syscall_x64 arch/x86/entry/syscall_64.c:63 [inline] do_syscall_64+0xfa/0x3b0 arch/x86/entry/syscall_64.c:94 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x77/0x7f To prevent this, ensure that the HCI_UART_REGISTERED flag is set before processing received data.
