CVE-2025-40236 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: virtio-net: zero unused hash fields When GSO tunnel is negotiated virtio_net_hdr_tnl_from_skb() tries to initialize the tunnel metadata but forget to zero unused rxhash fields. This may leak information to another side. Fixing this by zeroing the unused hash fields.
CVE-2025-40232 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rv: Fully convert enabled_monitors to use list_head as iterator The callbacks in enabled_monitors_seq_ops are inconsistent. Some treat the iterator as struct rv_monitor *, while others treat the iterator as struct list_head *. This causes a wrong type cast and crashes the system as reported by Nathan. Convert everything to use struct list_head * as iterator. This also makes enabled_monitors consistent with available_monitors.
CVE-2025-68364 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ocfs2: relax BUG() to ocfs2_error() in __ocfs2_move_extent() In '__ocfs2_move_extent()', relax 'BUG()' to 'ocfs2_error()' just to avoid crashing the whole kernel due to a filesystem corruption.

CVE-2025-40072 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fanotify: Validate the return value of mnt_ns_from_dentry() before dereferencing The function do_fanotify_mark() does not validate if mnt_ns_from_dentry() returns NULL before dereferencing mntns->user_ns. This causes a NULL pointer dereference in do_fanotify_mark() if the path is not a mount namespace object. Fix this by checking mnt_ns_from_dentry()'s return value before dereferencing it. CVE-2023-53722 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: md: raid1: fix potential OOB in raid1_remove_disk() If rddev->raid_disk is greater than mddev->raid_disks, there will be an out-of-bounds in raid1_remove_disk(). We have already found similar reports as follows: 1) commit d17f744e883b ("md-raid10: fix KASAN warning") 2) commit 1ebc2cec0b7d ("dm raid: fix KASAN warning in raid5_remove_disk") Fix this bug by checking whether the "number" variable is valid.
CVE-2023-53777 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: erofs: kill hooked chains to avoid loops on deduplicated compressed images After heavily stressing EROFS with several images which include a hand-crafted image of repeated patterns for more than 46 days, I found two chains could be linked with each other almost simultaneously and form a loop so that the entire loop won't be submitted. As a consequence, the corresponding file pages will remain locked forever. It can be _only_ observed on data-deduplicated compressed images. For example, consider two chains with five pclusters in total: Chain 1: 2->3->4->5 -- The tail pcluster is 5; Chain 2: 5->1->2 -- The tail pcluster is 2. Chain 2 could link to Chain 1 with pcluster 5; and Chain 1 could link to Chain 2 at the same time with pcluster 2. Since hooked chains are all linked locklessly now, I have no idea how to simply avoid the race. Instead, let's avoid hooked chains completely until I could work out a proper way to fix this and end users finally tell us that it's needed to add it back. Actually, this optimization can be found with multi-threaded workloads (especially even more often on deduplicated compressed images), yet I'm not sure about the overall system impacts of not having this compared with implementation complexity.
CVE-2025-68186 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ring-buffer: Do not warn in ring_buffer_map_get_reader() when reader catches up The function ring_buffer_map_get_reader() is a bit more strict than the other get reader functions, and except for certain situations the rb_get_reader_page() should not return NULL. If it does, it triggers a warning. This warning was triggering but after looking at why, it was because another acceptable situation was happening and it wasn't checked for. If the reader catches up to the writer and there's still data to be read on the reader page, then the rb_get_reader_page() will return NULL as there's no new page to get. In this situation, the reader page should not be updated and no warning should trigger.

CVE-2025-68262 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: zstd - fix double-free in per-CPU stream cleanup The crypto/zstd module has a double-free bug that occurs when multiple tfms are allocated and freed. The issue happens because zstd_streams (per-CPU contexts) are freed in zstd_exit() during every tfm destruction, rather than being managed at the module level. When multiple tfms exist, each tfm exit attempts to free the same shared per-CPU streams, resulting in a double-free. This leads to a stack trace similar to: BUG: Bad page state in process kworker/u16:1 pfn:106fd93 page: refcount:0 mapcount:0 mapping:0000000000000000 index:0x0 pfn:0x106fd93 flags: 0x17ffffc0000000(node=0|zone=2|lastcpupid=0x1fffff) page_type: 0xffffffff() raw: 0017ffffc0000000 dead000000000100 dead000000000122 0000000000000000 raw: 0000000000000000 0000000000000000 00000000ffffffff 0000000000000000 page dumped because: nonzero entire_mapcount Modules linked in: ... CVE-2025-68288 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: storage: Fix memory leak in USB bulk transport A kernel memory leak was identified by the 'ioctl_sg01' test from Linux Test Project (LTP). The following bytes were mainly observed: 0x53425355. When USB storage devices incorrectly skip the data phase with status data, the code extracts/validates the CSW from the sg buffer, but fails to clear it afterwards. This leaves status protocol data in srb's transfer buffer, such as the US_BULK_CS_SIGN 'USBS' signature observed here. Thus, this can lead to USB protocols leaks to user space through SCSI generic (/dev/sg*) interfaces, such as the one seen here when the LTP test requested 512 KiB. Fix the leak by zeroing the CSW data in srb's transfer buffer immediately after the validation of devices that skip data phase. Note: Differently from CVE-2018-1000204, which fixed a big leak by zero- ing pages at allocation time, this leak occurs after allocation, when USB protocol data is written to already-allocated sg pages.
CVE-2025-68298 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btusb: mediatek: Avoid btusb_mtk_claim_iso_intf() NULL deref In btusb_mtk_setup(), we set `btmtk_data->isopkt_intf` to: usb_ifnum_to_if(data->udev, MTK_ISO_IFNUM) That function can return NULL in some cases. Even when it returns NULL, though, we still go on to call btusb_mtk_claim_iso_intf(). As of commit e9087e828827 ("Bluetooth: btusb: mediatek: Add locks for usb_driver_claim_interface()"), calling btusb_mtk_claim_iso_intf() when `btmtk_data->isopkt_intf` is NULL will cause a crash because we'll end up passing a bad pointer to device_lock(). Prior to that commit we'd pass the NULL pointer directly to usb_driver_claim_interface() which would detect it and return an error, which was handled. Resolve the crash in btusb_mtk_claim_iso_intf() by adding a NULL check at the start of the function. This makes the code handle a NULL `btmtk_data->isopkt_intf` the same way it did before the problematic commit (just with a slight change to the error message printed).
CVE-2025-68329 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing: Fix WARN_ON in tracing_buffers_mmap_close for split VMAs When a VMA is split (e.g., by partial munmap or MAP_FIXED), the kernel calls vm_ops->close on each portion. For trace buffer mappings, this results in ring_buffer_unmap() being called multiple times while ring_buffer_map() was only called once. This causes ring_buffer_unmap() to return -ENODEV on subsequent calls because user_mapped is already 0, triggering a WARN_ON. Trace buffer mappings cannot support partial mappings because the ring buffer structure requires the complete buffer including the meta page. Fix this by adding a may_split callback that returns -EINVAL to prevent VMA splits entirely.
CVE-2025-68324 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: imm: Fix use-after-free bug caused by unfinished delayed work The delayed work item 'imm_tq' is initialized in imm_attach() and scheduled via imm_queuecommand() for processing SCSI commands. When the IMM parallel port SCSI host adapter is detached through imm_detach(), the imm_struct device instance is deallocated. However, the delayed work might still be pending or executing when imm_detach() is called, leading to use-after-free bugs when the work function imm_interrupt() accesses the already freed imm_struct memory. The race condition can occur as follows: CPU 0(detach thread) | CPU 1 | imm_queuecommand() | imm_queuecommand_lck() imm_detach() | schedule_delayed_work() kfree(dev) //FREE | imm_interrupt() | dev = container_of(...) //USE dev-> //USE Add disable_delayed_work_sync() in imm_detach() to guarantee proper cancellation of the delayed work item before imm_struct is deallocated.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cxl/pmem: Fix nvdimm registration races A loop of the form: while true; do modprobe cxl_pci; modprobe -r cxl_pci; done ...fails with the following crash signature: BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 0000000000000040 [..] RIP: 0010:cxl_internal_send_cmd+0x5/0xb0 [cxl_core] [..] Call Trace: <TASK> cxl_pmem_ctl+0x121/0x240 [cxl_pmem] nvdimm_get_config_data+0xd6/0x1a0 [libnvdimm] nd_label_data_init+0x135/0x7e0 [libnvdimm] nvdimm_probe+0xd6/0x1c0 [libnvdimm] nvdimm_bus_probe+0x7a/0x1e0 [libnvdimm] really_probe+0xde/0x380 __driver_probe_device+0x78/0x170 driver_probe_device+0x1f/0x90 __device_attach_driver+0x85/0x110 bus_for_each_drv+0x7d/0xc0 __device_attach+0xb4/0x1e0 bus_probe_device+0x9f/0xc0 device_add+0x445/0x9c0 nd_async_device_register+0xe/0x40 [libnvdimm] async_run_entry_fn+0x30/0x130 ...namely that the bottom half of async nvdimm device registration runs after the CXL has already torn down the context that cxl_pmem_ctl() needs. Unlike the ACPI NFIT case that benefits from launching multiple nvdimm device registrations in parallel from those listed in the table, CXL is already marked PROBE_PREFER_ASYNCHRONOUS. So provide for a synchronous registration path to preclude this scenario.
