CVE-2022-1789 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more 7 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 4 more 2024-11-21 6.8 Medium
With shadow paging enabled, the INVPCID instruction results in a call to kvm_mmu_invpcid_gva. If INVPCID is executed with CR0.PG=0, the invlpg callback is not set and the result is a NULL pointer dereference.
CVE-2022-1729 3 Linux, Netapp, Redhat 9 Linux Kernel, Hci Baseboard Management Controller, Enterprise Linux and 6 more 2024-11-21 7.0 High
A race condition was found the Linux kernel in perf_event_open() which can be exploited by an unprivileged user to gain root privileges. The bug allows to build several exploit primitives such as kernel address information leak, arbitrary execution, etc.
CVE-2022-1552 2 Postgresql, Redhat 5 Postgresql, Enterprise Linux, Rhel E4s and 2 more 2024-11-21 8.8 High
A flaw was found in PostgreSQL. There is an issue with incomplete efforts to operate safely when a privileged user is maintaining another user's objects. The Autovacuum, REINDEX, CREATE INDEX, REFRESH MATERIALIZED VIEW, CLUSTER, and pg_amcheck commands activated relevant protections too late or not at all during the process. This flaw allows an attacker with permission to create non-temporary objects in at least one schema to execute arbitrary SQL functions under a superuser identity.
CVE-2022-1158 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat 8 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 5 more 2024-11-21 7.8 High
A flaw was found in KVM. When updating a guest's page table entry, vm_pgoff was improperly used as the offset to get the page's pfn. As vaddr and vm_pgoff are controllable by user-mode processes, this flaw allows unprivileged local users on the host to write outside the userspace region and potentially corrupt the kernel, resulting in a denial of service condition.
CVE-2022-1048 4 Debian, Linux, Netapp and 1 more 22 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, H300e and 19 more 2024-11-21 7.0 High
A use-after-free flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s sound subsystem in the way a user triggers concurrent calls of PCM hw_params. The hw_free ioctls or similar race condition happens inside ALSA PCM for other ioctls. This flaw allows a local user to crash or potentially escalate their privileges on the system.
CVE-2022-1012 2 Linux, Redhat 5 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel E4s and 2 more 2024-11-21 8.2 High
A memory leak problem was found in the TCP source port generation algorithm in net/ipv4/tcp.c due to the small table perturb size. This flaw may allow an attacker to information leak and may cause a denial of service problem.
CVE-2022-0435 5 Fedoraproject, Linux, Netapp and 2 more 40 Fedora, Linux Kernel, H300e and 37 more 2024-11-21 8.8 High
A stack overflow flaw was found in the Linux kernel's TIPC protocol functionality in the way a user sends a packet with malicious content where the number of domain member nodes is higher than the 64 allowed. This flaw allows a remote user to crash the system or possibly escalate their privileges if they have access to the TIPC network.
