| CVE-2026-23338 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-23 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu/userq: Do not allow userspace to trivially triger kernel warnings Userspace can either deliberately pass in the too small num_fences, or the required number can legitimately grow between the two calls to the userq wait ioctl. In both cases we do not want the emit the kernel warning backtrace since nothing is wrong with the kernel and userspace will simply get an errno reported back. So lets simply drop the WARN_ONs. | CVE-2026-23318 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-23 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: usb-audio: Use correct version for UAC3 header validation The entry of the validators table for UAC3 AC header descriptor is defined with the wrong protocol version UAC_VERSION_2, while it should have been UAC_VERSION_3. This results in the validator never matching for actual UAC3 devices (protocol == UAC_VERSION_3), causing their header descriptors to bypass validation entirely. A malicious USB device presenting a truncated UAC3 header could exploit this to cause out-of-bounds reads when the driver later accesses unvalidated descriptor fields. The bug was introduced in the same commit as the recently fixed UAC3 feature unit sub-type typo, and appears to be from the same copy-paste error when the UAC3 section was created from the UAC2 section. | ||||
| CVE-2026-23447 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-23 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: usb: cdc_ncm: add ndpoffset to NDP32 nframes bounds check The same bounds-check bug fixed for NDP16 in the previous patch also exists in cdc_ncm_rx_verify_ndp32(). The DPE array size is validated against the total skb length without accounting for ndpoffset, allowing out-of-bounds reads when the NDP32 is placed near the end of the NTB. Add ndpoffset to the nframes bounds check and use struct_size_t() to express the NDP-plus-DPE-array size more clearly. Compile-tested only. | ||||

| CVE-2026-30999 | 1 Ffmpeg | 1 Ffmpeg | 2026-04-23 | 7.5 High |

| CVE-2026-6067 | 1 Nasm | 2 Nasm, Netwide Assembler | 2026-04-23 | 7.5 High |
| A heap buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the Netwide Assembler (NASM) due to a lack of bounds checking in the obj_directive() function. This vulnerability can be exploited by a user assembling a malicious .asm file, potentially leading to heap memory corruption, denial of service (crash), and arbitrary code execution. | ||||
| CVE-2026-39979 | 1 Jqlang | 1 Jq | 2026-04-23 | 6.5 Medium |
| jq is a command-line JSON processor. In commits before 2f09060afab23fe9390cce7cb860b10416e1bf5f, the jv_parse_sized() API in libjq accepts a counted buffer with an explicit length parameter, but its error-handling path formats the input buffer using %s in jv_string_fmt(), which reads until a NUL terminator is found rather than respecting the caller-supplied length. This means that when malformed JSON is passed in a non-NUL-terminated buffer, the error construction logic performs an out-of-bounds read past the end of the buffer. The vulnerability is reachable by any libjq consumer calling jv_parse_sized() with untrusted input, and depending on memory layout, can result in memory disclosure or process termination. The issue has been patched in commit 2f09060afab23fe9390cce7cb860b10416e1bf5f. | ||||
| CVE-2026-40614 | 1 Pjsip | 2 Pjproject, Pjsip | 2026-04-23 | 8.8 High |
| PJSIP is a free and open source multimedia communication library written in C. In 2.16 and earlier, there is a buffer overflow when decoding Opus audio frames due to insufficient buffer size validation in the Opus codec decode path. The FEC decode buffers (dec_frame[].buf) were allocated based on a PCM-derived formula: (sample_rate/1000) * 60 * channel_cnt * 2. At 8 kHz mono this yields only 960 bytes, but codec_parse() can output encoded frames up to MAX_ENCODED_PACKET_SIZE (1280) bytes via opus_repacketizer_out_range(). The three pj_memcpy() calls in codec_decode() copied input->size bytes without bounds checking, causing a heap buffer overflow. | ||||
| CVE-2026-40892 | 1 Pjsip | 2 Pjproject, Pjsip | 2026-04-23 | 9.8 Critical |
| PJSIP is a free and open source multimedia communication library written in C. In 2.16 and earlier, a stack buffer overflow exists in pjsip_auth_create_digest2() in PJSIP when using pre-computed digest credentials (PJSIP_CRED_DATA_DIGEST). The function copies credential data using cred_info->data.slen as the length without an upper-bound check, which can overflow the fixed-size ha1 stack buffer (128 bytes) if data.slen exceeds the expected digest string length. | ||||
