CVE-2026-57079 1 Sanko 1 Net::bittorrent 2026-07-20 5.3 Medium
Net::BitTorrent versions before 2.1.0 for Perl write files outside the download directory via path traversal in peer-supplied metadata. Net::BitTorrent validates file path components only on the .torrent-file ingest path. The peer and magnet metadata path (_on_metadata_received, reached from the BEP09 ut_metadata extension) passes attacker-supplied file names straight to Storage::add_file and Storage::_parse_file_tree, where Path::Tiny's child() does not collapse "..". A v2 file tree key, a v1 files[].path element, or a single-file name containing ".." segments therefore resolves outside the download directory. Because the peer also controls the piece hashes and the served bytes, content verification passes, so a malicious magnet or peer writes attacker-chosen content to an attacker-chosen path on the downloading host.
CVE-2026-63958 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-20 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: typec: ucsi: validate connector number in ucsi_connector_change() The connector number in a UCSI CCI notification is a 7-bit field supplied by the PPM. ucsi_connector_change() uses it to index the ucsi->connector[] array without checking it against the number of connectors the PPM reported at init time, so a buggy or malicious PPM (EC firmware, or an I2C-attached UCSI controller on the ccg / stm32g0 / glink transports) can drive schedule_work() on memory past the end of the array. Reject connector numbers that are zero or exceed cap.num_connectors before dereferencing the array.
CVE-2026-63826 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-20 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fbdev: fix use-after-free in store_modes() store_modes() replaces a framebuffer's modelist with modes from userspace. On success it frees the old modelist with fb_destroy_modelist(). Two fields still point into that freed list. One pointer is fb_display[i].mode, the mode a console is using. fbcon_new_modelist() moves these pointers to the new list. It only does so for consoles still mapped to the framebuffer. An unmapped console is skipped and keeps its stale pointer. Unbinding fbcon, for example, sets con2fb_map[i] to -1 but leaves fb_display[i].mode set. An FBIOPUT_VSCREENINFO ioctl with FB_ACTIVATE_INV_MODE later reaches fbcon_mode_deleted(). That function reads the stale fb_display[i].mode through fb_mode_is_equal(). The read is a use-after-free. The other pointer is fb_info->mode, the current mode. It is set through the mode sysfs attribute. store_modes() does not update fb_info->mode, so it is left pointing into the freed list. show_mode(), the attribute's read handler, dereferences the stale fb_info->mode through mode_string(). The read is a use-after-free. Clear both pointers before freeing the list. Commit a1f305893074 ("fbcon: Set fb_display[i]->mode to NULL when the mode is released") added the helper fbcon_delete_modelist(). It clears every fb_display[i].mode that points into a given list. So far it is called only from the unregister path. Call it from store_modes() too, and set fb_info->mode to NULL.
CVE-2026-53403 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-20 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fbdev: Fix fb_new_modelist to prevent null-ptr-deref in fb_videomode_to_var info->var, a framebuffer's current mode, is expected to have a matching entry in info->modelist. var_to_display() relies on this and treats a failed fb_match_mode() as "This should not happen". fb_set_var() keeps it true by adding the mode to the list on every change, and do_register_framebuffer() does the same at registration. store_modes() replaces the modelist from userspace. fb_new_modelist() validates the new modes but does not check that info->var still has a match. It relies on fbcon_new_modelist() to re-point consoles, but that only handles consoles mapped to the framebuffer. With fbcon unbound there are none, so info->var is left describing a mode that is no longer in the list. A later console takeover runs var_to_display(), where fb_match_mode() returns NULL and leaves fb_display[i].mode NULL. fbcon_switch() passes it to display_to_var(), and fb_videomode_to_var() dereferences the NULL mode. Keep the current mode in the list in fb_new_modelist(), the same way fb_set_var() does.
CVE-2026-53377 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-20 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/msm: always recover the gpu Previously, in case there was no more work to do, recover worker wouldn't trigger recovery and would instead rely on the gpu going to sleep and then resuming when more work is submitted. Recover_worker will first increment the fence of the hung ring so, if there's only one job submitted to a ring and that causes an hang, it will early out. There's no guarantee that the gpu will suspend and resume before more work is submitted and if the gpu is in a hung state it will stay in that state and probably trigger a timeout again. Just stop checking and always recover the gpu. Patchwork: https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/patch/704066/
CVE-2026-53376 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-20 5.5 Medium

A vulnerability was detected in yzhao062 pyod up to 3.6.1. Affected is the function pyod.utils.persistence.load of the file pyod/utils/persistence.py. Performing a manipulation of the argument path results in deserialization. The attack can be initiated remotely. Upgrading to version 3.6.2 is able to address this issue. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. The pull request to fix this issue requires some minor changes.
CVE-2023-0567 2 Php, Redhat 2 Php, Enterprise Linux 2026-07-19 7.7 High
In PHP 8.0.X before 8.0.28, 8.1.X before 8.1.16 and 8.2.X before 8.2.3, password_verify() function may accept some invalid Blowfish hashes as valid. If such invalid hash ever ends up in the password database, it may lead to an application allowing any password for this entry as valid.
CVE-2026-64043 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-19 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ovpn: fix race between deleting interface and adding new peer While deleting an existing ovpn interface, there is a very narrow window where adding a new peer via netlink may cause the netdevice to hang and prevent its unregistration. It may happen during ovpn_dellink(), when all existing peers are freed and the device is queued for deregistration, but a CMD_PEER_NEW message comes in adding a new peer that takes again a reference to the netdev. At this point there is no way to release the device because we are under the assumption that all peers were already released. Fix the race condition by releasing all peers in ndo_uninit(), when the netdevice has already been removed from the netdev list. Also ovpn_peer_add() has now an extra check that forces the function to bail out if the device reg_state is not REGISTERED. This way any incoming CMD_PEER_NEW racing with the interface deletion routine will simply stop before adding the peer. Note that the above check happens while holding the netdev_lock to prevent racing netdev state changes. ovpn_dellink() is now empty and can be removed.
CVE-2026-64040 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-19 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cachefiles: Fix error return when vfs_mkdir() fails When vfs_mkdir() fails, the error code is not extracted from the returned error pointer. This causes mkdir_error to be reached with ret=0, which leads to returning ERR_PTR(0) (NULL) instead of a proper error pointer. Fix this by extracting the error code from the error pointer when vfs_mkdir() fails.
CVE-2026-64038 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-19 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (lm90) Stop work before releasing hwmon device Sashiko reports: In lm90_probe(), the devm action to cancel the alert_work and report_work (lm90_restore_conf) is registered in lm90_init_client() before devm_hwmon_device_register_with_info() is called. Because devm executes cleanup actions in reverse order during module unbind or probe failure, the hwmon device is unregistered and freed first. If lm90_alert_work() or lm90_report_alarms() runs in the window between the hwmon device being freed and the delayed works being cancelled, lm90_update_alarms() will dereference the freed data->hwmon_dev here. Fix the problem by canceling the workers separately after registering the hwmon device and before registering the interrupt handler. This ensures that the workers are canceled after interrupts are disabled and before the hwmon device is released. Add "shutdown" flag to indicate that device shutdown is in progress to prevent workers from being re-armed.
CVE-2026-63990 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-19 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bonding: refuse to enslave CAN devices syzbot reported a kernel paging request crash in can_rx_unregister() inside net/can/af_can.c. The crash occurs because a virtual CAN device (vxcan) is being enslaved to a bonding master. During the enslavement process, the bonding driver mutates and modifies the network device states to fit an Ethernet-like aggregation model. However, CAN devices operate on a completely different Layer 2 architecture, relying on the CAN mid-layer private data structure (can_ml_priv) instead of standard Ethernet structures. Since bonding does not initialize or maintain these CAN structures, subsequent operations on the half-enslaved interface (such as closing associated sockets via isotp_release) lead to a null-pointer dereference when accessing the CAN receiver lists. Bonding CAN interfaces is architecturally invalid as CAN lacks MAC addresses, ARP capabilities, and standard Ethernet link-layer mechanisms. While generic loopback devices are blocked globally in net/core/dev.c, virtual CAN devices bypass this check because they do not carry the IFF_LOOPBACK flag, despite acting as local software-loopbacks. Fix this by explicitly blocking network devices of type ARPHRD_CAN from being enslaved at the very beginning of bond_enslave(). This prevents illegal state mutations, eliminates the resulting KASAN crashes, and avoids potential memory leaks from incomplete socket cleanups. As the CAN support has been added a long time after bonding the Fixes-tag points to the introduction of ARPHRD_CAN that would have needed a specific handling in bonding_main.c.
CVE-2026-63928 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-19 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: USB: serial: omninet: fix memory corruption with small endpoint Make sure that the bulk-out buffers are at least as large as the hardcoded transfer size to avoid user-controlled slab corruption should a malicious device report a smaller endpoint max packet size than expected.
CVE-2026-63859 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-19 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: airoha: Add missing bits in airoha_qdma_cleanup_tx_queue() Similar to airoha_qdma_cleanup_rx_queue(), reset DMA TX descriptors in airoha_qdma_cleanup_tx_queue routine. Moreover, reset TX_DMA_IDX to TX_CPU_IDX to notify the NIC the QDMA TX ring is empty.
CVE-2026-63839 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-19 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: platform/x86: lenovo-wmi-helpers: Fix memory leak in lwmi_dev_evaluate_int() lwmi_dev_evaluate_int() leaks output.pointer when retval == NULL (found by sashiko.dev [1]). Fix it by moving `ret_obj = output.pointer' outside of the `if (retval)' block so that it is always freed by the __free cleanup callback. No functional change intended.
CVE-2026-63838 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-19 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: rsnd: Fix potential out-of-bounds access of component_dais[] component_dais[RSND_MAX_COMPONENT] is initially zero-initialized and later populated in rsnd_dai_of_node(). However, the existing boundary check: if (i >= RSND_MAX_COMPONENT) does not guarantee that the last valid element remains zero. As a result, the loop can rely on component_dais[RSND_MAX_COMPONENT] being zero, which may lead to an out-of-bounds access. Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with SVACE.
CVE-2026-63837 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-19 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ena: PHC: Check return code before setting timestamp output ena_phc_gettimex64() is setting the output parameter regardless of whether ena_com_phc_get_timestamp() succeeded or failed. When ena_com_phc_get_timestamp() returns an error, the timestamp parameter may contain uninitialized stack memory (e.g., when PHC is disabled or in blocked state) or invalid hardware values. Passing these to userspace via the PTP ioctl is both a security issue (information leak) and a correctness bug. Fix by checking the return code after releasing the lock and only setting the output timestamp on success.
CVE-2026-63836 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-19 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: batman-adv: tp_meter: avoid divide-by-zero for dec_cwnd The cwnd is always MSS <= cwnd <= 0x20000000. But the calculation in batadv_tp_update_cwnd() assumes unsigned 32 bit arithmetics. ((mss * 8) ** 2) / (cwnd * 8) In case cwnd is actually 0x20000000, it will be shifted by 3 bit to the left end up at 0x100000000 or U32_MAX + 1. It will therefore wrap around and be 0 - resulting in: ((mss * 8) ** 2) / 0 This is of course invalid and cannot be calculated. The calculation should must be simplified to avoid this overflow: (mss ** 2) * 8 / cwnd It will keep the precision enhancement from the scaling (by 8) but avoid the overflow in the divisor. In theory, there could still be an overflow in the dividend. It is at the moment fixed to BATADV_TP_PLEN in batadv_tp_recv_ack() - so it is not an imminent problem. But allowing it to use the whole u32 bit range, would mean that it can still use up to 67 bits. To keep this calculation safe for 32 bit arithmetic, mss must never use more than floor((32 - 3) / 2) bits - or in other words: must never be larger than 16383.
CVE-2026-63835 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-19 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: batman-adv: v: prevent OGM aggregation on disabled hardif When an interface gets disabled, the worker is correctly disabled by batadv_hardif_disable_interface() -> ... -> batadv_v_ogm_iface_disable(). In this process, the skb aggr_list is also freed. But batadv_v_ogm_send_meshif() can still queue new skbs (via batadv_v_ogm_queue_on_if()) to the aggr_list. This will only stop after all cores can no longer find the RCU protected list of hard interfaces. These queued skbs will never be freed or consumed by batadv_v_ogm_aggr_work. The batadv_v_ogm_iface_disable() function must block batadv_v_ogm_queue_on_if() to avoid leak of skbs.
CVE-2026-63834 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-19 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: batman-adv: tp_meter: restrict number of unacked list entries When the unacked_list is unbound, an attacker could send messages with small lengths and appropriated seqno + gaps to force the receiver to allocate more and more unacked_list entries. And the end either causing an out-of-memory situation or increase the management overhead for the (large) list that significant portions of CPU cycles are wasted in searching through the list. When limiting the list to a specific number, it is important to still correctly add a new entry to the list. But if the list became larger than the limit, the last entry of the list (with the highest seqno) must be dropped to still allow the earlier seqnos to finish and therefore to continue the process. Otherwise, the process might get stuck with too high seqnos which are not handled by batadv_tp_ack_unordered().
