| CVE-2026-42309 | 2 Python, Python-pillow | 2 Pillow, Pillow | 2026-05-12 | 5.5 Medium |
| Pillow is a Python imaging library. From version 11.2.1 to before version 12.2.0, passing nested lists as coordinates to APIs that accept coordinates such as ImagePath.Path, ImageDraw.ImageDraw.polygon and ImageDraw.ImageDraw.line could cause a heap buffer overflow, as nested lists were recursively unpacked beyond the allocated buffer. Coordinate lists are now validated to contain exactly two numeric coordinates. This issue has been patched in version 12.2.0. | ||||

| CVE-2026-7258 | 2 Php, Php Group | 2 Php, Php | 2026-05-12 | 7.5 High |
| In PHP versions 8.2.* before 8.2.31, 8.3.* before 8.3.31, 8.4.* before 8.4.21, and 8.5.* before 8.5.6, some functions, including urldecode(), pass signed char to ctype functions (like isxdigit()). On the systems with default signed char and optimized table-lookup ctype functions - such as NetBSD - this can lead to accessing array with negative offset, which can trigger a denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-7568 | 2 Php, Php Group | 2 Php, Php | 2026-05-12 | 7.5 High |
| In PHP versions 8.2.* before 8.2.31, 8.3.* before 8.3.31, 8.4.* before 8.4.21, and 8.5.* before 8.5.6, the metaphone() function in ext/standard/metaphone.c uses a signed int variable to track the current position within the input string. If a string longer than 2,147,483,647 bytes is passed, a signed integer overflow occurs, resulting in undefined behavior. This can lead to an out-of-bounds read, causing a segmentation fault or access to unrelated memory, and may affect the availability of the PHP process. | ||||
| CVE-2026-6104 | 2 Php, Php Group | 2 Php, Php | 2026-05-12 | 9.1 Critical |
| In PHP versions 8.4.* before 8.4.21 and 8.5.* before 8.5.6, when an encoding name containing an embedded NUL byte is passed to mb_convert_encoding() or related mbstring functions, the code incorrectly assumes that when strncasecmp() returns 0 it means the strings have the same length. This can lead to out-of-bounds read of global memory, potentially causing a crash or information disclosure or crash. Affected functions include mb_convert_encoding(), mb_detect_encoding(), mb_convert_variables(), and mb_detect_order(), as well as the mbstring.detect_order and mbstring.http_output INI settings. | ||||
| CVE-2026-45190 | 1 Stigtsp | 1 Net::cidr::lite | 2026-05-12 | 6.5 Medium |
| Net::CIDR::Lite versions before 0.24 for Perl does not properly validate IP address and CIDR mask inputs, which may allow IP ACL bypass. Inputs containing a trailing newline or non-ASCII digit characters pass the validators but are then re-encoded by the parser to a different address than the input string spelled. find() and bin_find() can match or miss addresses as a result. Example: my $cidr = Net::CIDR::Lite->new(); $cidr->add("::1\n/128"); $cidr->find("::1a"); # incorrectly returns true See also CVE-2026-45191. | ||||

| CVE-2026-4891 | 1 Dnsmasq | 1 Dnsmasq | 2026-05-12 | 5.3 Medium |
| A heap-based out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the DNSSEC validation of dnsmasq allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service via a crafted DNS packet. | ||||
| CVE-2026-41509 | 2 Cross-crypto, Cross-signature | 2 Cross-implementation, Cross-implementation | 2026-05-12 | 9.8 Critical |
| CROSS implementation contains reference and optimized implementations of the CROSS post-quantum signature algorithm. Prior to commit fc6b7e7, there is a buffer overflow in crypto_sign_open() caused by an underflow of the integer mlen. This issue has been patched via commit fc6b7e7. | ||||
| CVE-2026-22796 | 1 Openssl | 1 Openssl | 2026-05-12 | 5.3 Medium |
| Issue summary: A type confusion vulnerability exists in the signature verification of signed PKCS#7 data where an ASN1_TYPE union member is accessed without first validating the type, causing an invalid or NULL pointer dereference when processing malformed PKCS#7 data. Impact summary: An application performing signature verification of PKCS#7 data or calling directly the PKCS7_digest_from_attributes() function can be caused to dereference an invalid or NULL pointer when reading, resulting in a Denial of Service. The function PKCS7_digest_from_attributes() accesses the message digest attribute value without validating its type. When the type is not V_ASN1_OCTET_STRING, this results in accessing invalid memory through the ASN1_TYPE union, causing a crash. Exploiting this vulnerability requires an attacker to provide a malformed signed PKCS#7 to an application that verifies it. The impact of the exploit is just a Denial of Service, the PKCS7 API is legacy and applications should be using the CMS API instead. For these reasons the issue was assessed as Low severity. The FIPS modules in 3.5, 3.4, 3.3 and 3.0 are not affected by this issue, as the PKCS#7 parsing implementation is outside the OpenSSL FIPS module boundary. OpenSSL 3.6, 3.5, 3.4, 3.3, 3.0, 1.1.1 and 1.0.2 are vulnerable to this issue. | ||||

| CVE-2025-9820 | 1 Redhat | 8 Ceph Storage, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 5 more | 2026-05-12 | 4 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the GnuTLS library, specifically in the gnutls_pkcs11_token_init() function that handles PKCS#11 token initialization. When a token label longer than expected is processed, the function writes past the end of a fixed-size stack buffer. This programming error can cause the application using GnuTLS to crash or, in certain conditions, be exploited for code execution. As a result, systems or applications relying on GnuTLS may be vulnerable to a denial of service or local privilege escalation attacks. | ||||

| CVE-2025-46836 | 2026-05-12 | 6.6 Medium | ||
| net-tools is a collection of programs that form the base set of the NET-3 networking distribution for the Linux operating system. Inn versions up to and including 2.10, the Linux network utilities (like ifconfig) from the net-tools package do not properly validate the structure of /proc files when showing interfaces. `get_name()` in `interface.c` copies interface labels from `/proc/net/dev` into a fixed 16-byte stack buffer without bounds checking, leading to possible arbitrary code execution or crash. The known attack path does not require privilege but also does not provide privilege escalation in this scenario. A patch is available and expected to be part of version 2.20. | ||||
| CVE-2025-39853 | 2 Debian, Linux | 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-05-12 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i40e: Fix potential invalid access when MAC list is empty list_first_entry() never returns NULL - if the list is empty, it still returns a pointer to an invalid object, leading to potential invalid memory access when dereferenced. Fix this by using list_first_entry_or_null instead of list_first_entry. | ||||
