CVE-2025-68217 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Input: pegasus-notetaker - fix potential out-of-bounds access In the pegasus_notetaker driver, the pegasus_probe() function allocates the URB transfer buffer using the wMaxPacketSize value from the endpoint descriptor. An attacker can use a malicious USB descriptor to force the allocation of a very small buffer. Subsequently, if the device sends an interrupt packet with a specific pattern (e.g., where the first byte is 0x80 or 0x42), the pegasus_parse_packet() function parses the packet without checking the allocated buffer size. This leads to an out-of-bounds memory access.
CVE-2025-68247 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: posix-timers: Plug potential memory leak in do_timer_create() When posix timer creation is set to allocate a given timer ID and the access to the user space value faults, the function terminates without freeing the already allocated posix timer structure. Move the allocation after the user space access to cure that. [ tglx: Massaged change log ]
CVE-2025-68281 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: SDCA: bug fix while parsing mipi-sdca-control-cn-list "struct sdca_control" declares "values" field as integer array. But the memory allocated to it is of char array. This causes crash for sdca_parse_function API. This patch addresses the issue by allocating correct data size.
CVE-2025-68290 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: most: usb: fix double free on late probe failure The MOST subsystem has a non-standard registration function which frees the interface on registration failures and on deregistration. This unsurprisingly leads to bugs in the MOST drivers, and a couple of recent changes turned a reference underflow and use-after-free in the USB driver into several double free and a use-after-free on late probe failures.
CVE-2025-68291 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mptcp: Initialise rcv_mss before calling tcp_send_active_reset() in mptcp_do_fastclose(). syzbot reported divide-by-zero in __tcp_select_window() by MPTCP socket. [0] We had a similar issue for the bare TCP and fixed in commit 499350a5a6e7 ("tcp: initialize rcv_mss to TCP_MIN_MSS instead of 0"). Let's apply the same fix to mptcp_do_fastclose(). CVE-2023-54113 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rcu: dump vmalloc memory info safely Currently, for double invoke call_rcu(), will dump rcu_head objects memory info, if the objects is not allocated from the slab allocator, the vmalloc_dump_obj() will be invoke and the vmap_area_lock spinlock need to be held, since the call_rcu() can be invoked in interrupt context, therefore, there is a possibility of spinlock deadlock scenarios. And in Preempt-RT kernel, the rcutorture test also trigger the following lockdep warning: BUG: sleeping function called from invalid context at kernel/locking/spinlock_rt.c:48 in_atomic(): 1, irqs_disabled(): 1, non_block: 0, pid: 1, name: swapper/0 preempt_count: 1, expected: 0 RCU nest depth: 1, expected: 1 3 locks held by swapper/0/1: #0: ffffffffb534ee80 (fullstop_mutex){+.+.}-{4:4}, at: torture_init_begin+0x24/0xa0 #1: ffffffffb5307940 (rcu_read_lock){....}-{1:3}, at: rcu_torture_init+0x1ec7/0x2370 #2: ffffffffb536af40 (vmap_area_lock){+.+.}-{3:3}, at: find_vmap_area+0x1f/0x70 irq event stamp: 565512 hardirqs last enabled at (565511): [<ffffffffb379b138>] __call_rcu_common+0x218/0x940 hardirqs last disabled at (565512): [<ffffffffb5804262>] rcu_torture_init+0x20b2/0x2370 softirqs last enabled at (399112): [<ffffffffb36b2586>] __local_bh_enable_ip+0x126/0x170 softirqs last disabled at (399106): [<ffffffffb43fef59>] inet_register_protosw+0x9/0x1d0 Preemption disabled at: [<ffffffffb58040c3>] rcu_torture_init+0x1f13/0x2370 CPU: 0 PID: 1 Comm: swapper/0 Tainted: G W 6.5.0-rc4-rt2-yocto-preempt-rt+ #15 Hardware name: QEMU Standard PC (Q35 + ICH9, 2009), BIOS rel-1.16.2-0-gea1b7a073390-prebuilt.qemu.org 04/01/2014 Call Trace: <TASK> dump_stack_lvl+0x68/0xb0 dump_stack+0x14/0x20 __might_resched+0x1aa/0x280 ? __pfx_rcu_torture_err_cb+0x10/0x10 rt_spin_lock+0x53/0x130 ? find_vmap_area+0x1f/0x70 find_vmap_area+0x1f/0x70 vmalloc_dump_obj+0x20/0x60 mem_dump_obj+0x22/0x90 __call_rcu_common+0x5bf/0x940 ? debug_smp_processor_id+0x1b/0x30 call_rcu_hurry+0x14/0x20 rcu_torture_init+0x1f82/0x2370 ? __pfx_rcu_torture_leak_cb+0x10/0x10 ? __pfx_rcu_torture_leak_cb+0x10/0x10 ? __pfx_rcu_torture_init+0x10/0x10 do_one_initcall+0x6c/0x300 ? debug_smp_processor_id+0x1b/0x30 kernel_init_freeable+0x2b9/0x540 ? __pfx_kernel_init+0x10/0x10 kernel_init+0x1f/0x150 ret_from_fork+0x40/0x50 ? __pfx_kernel_init+0x10/0x10 ret_from_fork_asm+0x1b/0x30 </TASK> The previous patch fixes this by using the deadlock-safe best-effort version of find_vm_area. CVE-2022-50564 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/netiucv: Fix return type of netiucv_tx() With clang's kernel control flow integrity (kCFI, CONFIG_CFI_CLANG), indirect call targets are validated against the expected function pointer prototype to make sure the call target is valid to help mitigate ROP attacks. If they are not identical, there is a failure at run time, which manifests as either a kernel panic or thread getting killed. A proposed warning in clang aims to catch these at compile time, which reveals: drivers/s390/net/netiucv.c:1854:21: error: incompatible function pointer types initializing 'netdev_tx_t (*)(struct sk_buff *, struct net_device *)' (aka 'enum netdev_tx (*)(struct sk_buff *, struct net_device *)') with an expression of type 'int (struct sk_buff *, struct net_device *)' [-Werror,-Wincompatible-function-pointer-types-strict] .ndo_start_xmit = netiucv_tx, ^~~~~~~~~~ ->ndo_start_xmit() in 'struct net_device_ops' expects a return type of 'netdev_tx_t', not 'int'. Adjust the return type of netiucv_tx() to match the prototype's to resolve the warning and potential CFI failure, should s390 select ARCH_SUPPORTS_CFI_CLANG in the future. Additionally, while in the area, remove a comment block that is no longer relevant.
CVE-2022-50582 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: regulator: core: Prevent integer underflow By using a ratio of delay to poll_enabled_time that is not integer time_remaining underflows and does not exit the loop as expected. As delay could be derived from DT and poll_enabled_time is defined in the driver this can easily happen. Use a signed iterator to make sure that the loop exits once the remaining time is negative.
CVE-2025-68316 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: ufs: core: Fix invalid probe error return value After DME Link Startup, the error return value is set to the MIPI UniPro GenericErrorCode which can be 0 (SUCCESS) or 1 (FAILURE). Upon failure during driver probe, the error code 1 is propagated back to the driver probe function which must return a negative value to indicate an error, but 1 is not negative, so the probe is considered to be successful even though it failed. Subsequently, removing the driver results in an oops because it is not in a valid state. This happens because none of the callers of ufshcd_init() expect a non-negative error code. Fix the return value and documentation to match actual usage.
CVE-2025-68318 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: clk: thead: th1520-ap: set all AXI clocks to CLK_IS_CRITICAL The AXI crossbar of TH1520 has no proper timeout handling, which means gating AXI clocks can easily lead to bus timeout and thus system hang. Set all AXI clock gates to CLK_IS_CRITICAL. All these clock gates are ungated by default on system reset. In addition, convert all current CLK_IGNORE_UNUSED usage to CLK_IS_CRITICAL to prevent unwanted clock gating.
CVE-2023-54273 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: Fix leak of dev tracker At the stage of direction checks, the netdev reference tracker is already initialized, but released with wrong *_put() call.
CVE-2023-53743 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI: Free released resource after coalescing release_resource() doesn't actually free the resource or resource list entry so free the resource list entry to avoid a leak.
CVE-2023-53745 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: um: vector: Fix memory leak in vector_config If the return value of the uml_parse_vector_ifspec function is NULL, we should call kfree(params) to prevent memory leak.
CVE-2023-53755 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dmaengine: ptdma: check for null desc before calling pt_cmd_callback Resolves a panic that can occur on AMD systems, typically during host shutdown, after the PTDMA driver had been exercised. The issue was the pt_issue_pending() function is mistakenly assuming that there will be at least one descriptor in the Submitted queue when the function is called. However, it is possible that both the Submitted and Issued queues could be empty, which could result in pt_cmd_callback() being mistakenly called with a NULL pointer. Ref: Bugzilla Bug 216856.
CVE-2023-53757 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: irqchip/irq-mvebu-gicp: Fix refcount leak in mvebu_gicp_probe of_irq_find_parent() returns a node pointer with refcount incremented, We should use of_node_put() on it when not needed anymore. Add missing of_node_put() to avoid refcount leak.
CVE-2025-68357 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iomap: allocate s_dio_done_wq for async reads as well Since commit 222f2c7c6d14 ("iomap: always run error completions in user context"), read error completions are deferred to s_dio_done_wq. This means the workqueue also needs to be allocated for async reads.
CVE-2025-68376 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: coresight: ETR: Fix ETR buffer use-after-free issue When ETR is enabled as CS_MODE_SYSFS, if the buffer size is changed and enabled again, currently sysfs_buf will point to the newly allocated memory(buf_new) and free the old memory(buf_old). But the etr_buf that is being used by the ETR remains pointed to buf_old, not updated to buf_new. In this case, it will result in a memory use-after-free issue. Fix this by checking ETR's mode before updating and releasing buf_old, if the mode is CS_MODE_SYSFS, then skip updating and releasing it.
CVE-2023-53758 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: spi: atmel-quadspi: Free resources even if runtime resume failed in .remove() An early error exit in atmel_qspi_remove() doesn't prevent the device unbind. So this results in an spi controller with an unbound parent and unmapped register space (because devm_ioremap_resource() is undone). So using the remaining spi controller probably results in an oops. Instead unregister the controller unconditionally and only skip hardware access and clk disable. Also add a warning about resume failing and return zero unconditionally. The latter has the only effect to suppress a less helpful error message by the spi core.
CVE-2023-53766 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: FS: JFS: Check for read-only mounted filesystem in txBegin This patch adds a check for read-only mounted filesystem in txBegin before starting a transaction potentially saving from NULL pointer deref.
CVE-2023-53782 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dccp: Fix out of bounds access in DCCP error handler There was a previous attempt to fix an out-of-bounds access in the DCCP error handlers, but that fix assumed that the error handlers only want to access the first 8 bytes of the DCCP header. Actually, they also look at the DCCP sequence number, which is stored beyond 8 bytes, so an explicit pskb_may_pull() is required.
