| CVE-2025-40060 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: coresight: trbe: Return NULL pointer for allocation failures When the TRBE driver fails to allocate a buffer, it currently returns the error code "-ENOMEM". However, the caller etm_setup_aux() only checks for a NULL pointer, so it misses the error. As a result, the driver continues and eventually causes a kernel panic. Fix this by returning a NULL pointer from arm_trbe_alloc_buffer() on allocation failures. This allows that the callers can properly handle the failure. | ||||
| CVE-2025-40030 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 7.0 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pinctrl: check the return value of pinmux_ops::get_function_name() While the API contract in docs doesn't specify it explicitly, the generic implementation of the get_function_name() callback from struct pinmux_ops - pinmux_generic_get_function_name() - can fail and return NULL. This is already checked in pinmux_check_ops() so add a similar check in pinmux_func_name_to_selector() instead of passing the returned pointer right down to strcmp() where the NULL can get dereferenced. This is normal operation when adding new pinfunctions. | ||||
| CVE-2025-40050 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Skip scalar adjustment for BPF_NEG if dst is a pointer In check_alu_op(), the verifier currently calls check_reg_arg() and adjust_scalar_min_max_vals() unconditionally for BPF_NEG operations. However, if the destination register holds a pointer, these scalar adjustments are unnecessary and potentially incorrect. This patch adds a check to skip the adjustment logic when the destination register contains a pointer. | ||||
| CVE-2023-54248 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs/ntfs3: Add check for kmemdup Since the kmemdup may return NULL pointer, it should be better to add check for the return value in order to avoid NULL pointer dereference. | ||||
| CVE-2024-25743 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 3 Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus | 2026-04-15 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel through 6.9, an untrusted hypervisor can inject virtual interrupts 0 and 14 at any point in time and can trigger the SIGFPE signal handler in userspace applications. This affects AMD SEV-SNP and AMD SEV-ES. | ||||
| CVE-2023-54195 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rxrpc: Fix timeout of a call that hasn't yet been granted a channel afs_make_call() calls rxrpc_kernel_begin_call() to begin a call (which may get stalled in the background waiting for a connection to become available); it then calls rxrpc_kernel_set_max_life() to set the timeouts - but that starts the call timer so the call timer might then expire before we get a connection assigned - leading to the following oops if the call stalled: BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 0000000000000000 ... CPU: 1 PID: 5111 Comm: krxrpcio/0 Not tainted 6.3.0-rc7-build3+ #701 RIP: 0010:rxrpc_alloc_txbuf+0xc0/0x157 ... Call Trace: <TASK> rxrpc_send_ACK+0x50/0x13b rxrpc_input_call_event+0x16a/0x67d rxrpc_io_thread+0x1b6/0x45f ? _raw_spin_unlock_irqrestore+0x1f/0x35 ? rxrpc_input_packet+0x519/0x519 kthread+0xe7/0xef ? kthread_complete_and_exit+0x1b/0x1b ret_from_fork+0x22/0x30 Fix this by noting the timeouts in struct rxrpc_call when the call is created. The timer will be started when the first packet is transmitted. It shouldn't be possible to trigger this directly from userspace through AF_RXRPC as sendmsg() will return EBUSY if the call is in the waiting-for-conn state if it dropped out of the wait due to a signal. | ||||
| CVE-2025-40097 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: hda: Fix missing pointer check in hda_component_manager_init function The __component_match_add function may assign the 'matchptr' pointer the value ERR_PTR(-ENOMEM), which will subsequently be dereferenced. The call stack leading to the error looks like this: hda_component_manager_init |-> component_match_add |-> component_match_add_release |-> __component_match_add ( ... ,**matchptr, ... ) |-> *matchptr = ERR_PTR(-ENOMEM); // assign |-> component_master_add_with_match( ... match) |-> component_match_realloc(match, match->num); // dereference Add IS_ERR() check to prevent the crash. | CVE-2025-40341 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: futex: Don't leak robust_list pointer on exec race sys_get_robust_list() and compat_get_robust_list() use ptrace_may_access() to check if the calling task is allowed to access another task's robust_list pointer. This check is racy against a concurrent exec() in the target process. During exec(), a task may transition from a non-privileged binary to a privileged one (e.g., setuid binary) and its credentials/memory mappings may change. If get_robust_list() performs ptrace_may_access() before this transition, it may erroneously allow access to sensitive information after the target becomes privileged. A racy access allows an attacker to exploit a window during which ptrace_may_access() passes before a target process transitions to a privileged state via exec(). For example, consider a non-privileged task T that is about to execute a setuid-root binary. An attacker task A calls get_robust_list(T) while T is still unprivileged. Since ptrace_may_access() checks permissions based on current credentials, it succeeds. However, if T begins exec immediately afterwards, it becomes privileged and may change its memory mappings. Because get_robust_list() proceeds to access T->robust_list without synchronizing with exec() it may read user-space pointers from a now-privileged process. This violates the intended post-exec access restrictions and could expose sensitive memory addresses or be used as a primitive in a larger exploit chain. Consequently, the race can lead to unauthorized disclosure of information across privilege boundaries and poses a potential security risk. Take a read lock on signal->exec_update_lock prior to invoking ptrace_may_access() and accessing the robust_list/compat_robust_list. This ensures that the target task's exec state remains stable during the check, allowing for consistent and synchronized validation of credentials. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tpm: tpm_tis: Add the missed acpi_put_table() to fix memory leak In check_acpi_tpm2(), we get the TPM2 table just to make sure the table is there, not used after the init, so the acpi_put_table() should be added to release the ACPI memory. | ||||
| CVE-2023-54169 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 7.0 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5e: fix memory leak in mlx5e_ptp_open When kvzalloc_node or kvzalloc failed in mlx5e_ptp_open, the memory pointed by "c" or "cparams" is not freed, which can lead to a memory leak. Fix by freeing the array in the error path. | ||||

| CVE-2023-53754 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: lpfc: Fix ioremap issues in lpfc_sli4_pci_mem_setup() When if_type equals zero and pci_resource_start(pdev, PCI_64BIT_BAR4) returns false, drbl_regs_memmap_p is not remapped. This passes a NULL pointer to iounmap(), which can trigger a WARN() on certain arches. When if_type equals six and pci_resource_start(pdev, PCI_64BIT_BAR4) returns true, drbl_regs_memmap_p may has been remapped and ctrl_regs_memmap_p is not remapped. This is a resource leak and passes a NULL pointer to iounmap(). To fix these issues, we need to add null checks before iounmap(), and change some goto labels. | ||||
| CVE-2025-40106 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: comedi: fix divide-by-zero in comedi_buf_munge() The comedi_buf_munge() function performs a modulo operation `async->munge_chan %= async->cmd.chanlist_len` without first checking if chanlist_len is zero. If a user program submits a command with chanlist_len set to zero, this causes a divide-by-zero error when the device processes data in the interrupt handler path. Add a check for zero chanlist_len at the beginning of the function, similar to the existing checks for !map and CMDF_RAWDATA flag. When chanlist_len is zero, update munge_count and return early, indicating the data was handled without munging. This prevents potential kernel panics from malformed user commands. | ||||
